Crystal River Ranch House | 30 Acre Fishing Dream Reclaim your passion for the mountains at our modestly sophisticated and newly renovated country home, situated at the base of Mount Sopris and its striking 13,000-foot vista on 13 Moons Ranch: a space where artists, musicians, and the community come together. Located 7 minutes from the town of Carbondale, with one half mile along the Crystal River of private fishing access within the 30-acre operational ranch & non-profit center upon which it sits, and a private pond off the back of the property (filled by the river May-October). Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath home allows friends and families to return to nature and balance their busy lives with a peaceful respite at our western mountain farmstead with recent interior renovations and a newly-finished back deck. There is speedy wifi in the space (although it can intermittently be down due to rural mountain conditions) but we ask our guests to choose this escape to connect with nature (bring your binoculars for bird watching and leave your work emails for work!). ** This is a space that caters to families and is not for parties and large groups to mingle. Please be courteous of this request if you wish to book this space. ** Entering onto 13 Moons Ranch and the countryside home, the open concept living space invites everyone together in conversation at the italian-inspired dining table and bench seating adorned with geometric chandelier lighting. Natural light engulfs the newly-constructed kitchen as you prepare a light fare with your stainless steel appliances, gas range, bar stool seating for four, and adequate entertaining crockery. The relaxed leather furnishings and pedestal gas fireplace in the living space look out upon the private alpine pond and nearby massive mountain scapes. From the seating area, immerse yourself in the pine-scented fresh air as you open the door onto the back deck space and enjoy a stunning dark night's sky from the comfortable outdoor seating area. The master suite emanates the feel of a cozy, one of a kind sleeping quarters for four. The plush master king bed with tasteful linens rests below the treehouse double twin bunks for your little mountain hikers. With its clean rustic finishings, new flooring, and rest & repose for four, the master suite celebrates family living in simple mountain splendor. In addition, the newly-renovated master bathroom encompasses a free standing soaking bath, jack and jill wash basins, a double vanity, and a crisp, mosaic-tiled rainwater shower. The second bedroom leads out to the deck area and celebrates simplistic mountain style with its relaxing and rustic queen bed, splendid views and small ensuite bathroom with shower. Enjoy cool, organic tones on the restful queen bed in the third bedroom, accompanied by a western secretary desk space and closet readied for a multi-week stay. The hallway bathroom displays austere decor and a rialto-style polished tile tub. Travel from the home, less than 15 minutes up the road to explore the historic tiny town of Redstone or minutes to the beautiful, family-friendly downtown of Carbondale. Although neighboring the town, you will feel the quiet seclusion of this tastefully-renovated mountain ranch that is an enviable point of departure for both summer and winter outdoor pursuits. PLEASE NOTE: - This home is somewhat close to the main road (HWY 133) and some road noise can be heard. It hasn't been an issue for most of our guests, but others that are sensitive to noise may not enjoy it. - This space is located on the beautiful 13 Moons Ranch a biodynamic 30-acre working ranch and non-profit education center where artists, musicians, and the community come together. While this space is extremely private and at least a few acres away from other structures, there are other barns and residences on the 30-acres. Occasionally there are small educational events held at the ranch that focus around art and music. We will provide a link in the guide book for the ranch and these programs but like our guests to know that they will occasionally see small groups of people gathering to learn. We encourage you to join if you can! - There is no television in this home as the homeowners want guests' to focus on unplugging and enjoying the beautiful nature around them! - Boutique Mountain Homes verifies identity and checks criminal databases for guests we host. After booking this space you will receive an email to complete your screening from our third-party guest verification company. By booking this space, you agree to complete this verification within 24 hours of booking.- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days during a stay, a service that is included in your booking payment up to 29 nights. If you have booked for 30+ nights, an additional payment will be requested after your booking is confirmed to cover this service. - You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful - and wild - mountains of Colorado. You may see or experience animals and pests such as bears, deer, elk, mice, packrats, insects, bobcats, snakes, raccoons, and other such wild things.
