Foxwood ~ Completely Updated Cabin, Well-Stocked, Super Comfy! Walk to River Foxwood is a thoroughly modern cabin with oodles of light and completely updated interiors! The remodeled kitchen and BBQ on the back deck will have you cooking up a storm for the family - or with friends - while the kids are deciding which movies to watch, board games to play, or begging to go to the Monte Rio Public Beach - just a few minutes' walk away. In the summer, guests have access to two canoes to take to the river and can rent more at the beach. There's also a playground, open meadow and several restaurants in walking distance.The living room, family/media room, and master bedroom are set up with TVs so hang out together or split up to watch separate movies or sports games. And with barn doors separating the Family/media room from the dining room and kitchen, you can sleep in or have some privacy when coffee and breakfast start in the morning. We think you'll love the flexible layout and all the opportunities to play and relax at Foxwood!Don't miss the hot tub set into the back deck and the outdoor shower to rinse off after playing at the river!Know Before You Book: Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Foxwood is 4 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time. Parking: There is parking for 2 to 3 cars. Two full size or 3 small cars can fit comfortably in front of the house on the street (designated for this home). While it's possible to pull one very small car into the yard (through the gate), we do not recommend it. Street parking is scarce. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.Bed Sizes: Master bedroom: Queen bed; Second bedroom: Twin bunk bed; Family/Media room: Queen sleeper sofa.Heat Source: This house has central heat plus a gas fireplace in the living room.Stairs: The yard at Foxwood is very flat, but there are several steps at each entrance to the house. Once inside, the house is all on one level.Fencing: The yard is fully fenced when the entry gate is closed.Docks & Boats: Docks and beaches are seasonal only and available from mid-June to mid-September providing the summer dams are in. Canoes and kayaks are provided in some of our homes and are available from mid-June to mid-September only. The river is usually too swift for boating in the winter and many docks and beaches are under water until late spring.Proximity to Wineries: The closest tasting rooms are in downtown Guerneville (4.3 mi.) and there are many, many more at vineyards within 15 minutes by car.Nearest River Beach: The nearest river access is the Monte Rio Public Beach at .2 mi from the house. It is a comfortable walk and the downriver section of the beach is dog-friendly. In the summer, there are concession stands and you can rent additional boats at the beach. Nearest Ocean Beach: The coastal beaches in Jenner are approx. 9 miles.A note about the lot at the end of the street: Construction is happening at the end of the road, usually beginning at 8 am on weekdays. Crews are not typically active on the weekends. The amount of noise from the activity will vary as the project progresses. The project is expected to last through sometime in 2024.
