This is a place for escaping, relaxing, and taking in the beauty of the valley, with a seasonal dock, canoe, and three kayaks provided for your use.This stilted home enjoys a prime location on the south bank of the river, just one mile from the heart of Guerneville. Within that mile, you'll find Johnson's Beach, Pee Wee Golf & Arcade, a number of great restaurants, and eclectic shops. You'll also be a short and scenic drive from wonderful wineries, Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, and the Northwood Golf Club.Your visit begins in the beautiful outdoor spaces, where you can breathe in the scent of the redwoods with a view of the river's calm waters. Bring a good book outside to the wraparound deck, barbecue in the afternoons on the gas grill, and gather in the evenings on the patio to tell stories around the firepit.The well-decorated living space is lined with windows and glass doors, allowing you easy access to the deck and views of the river and treetops at every turn. A highlight of this space is the gorgeous kitchen with its stainless steel appliances, center prep island, and richly hued wood cabinetry. Enjoy a pair of sofas and a smart TV in the living room, a dining area warmed by a gas fireplace, and comfortable beds in both bedrooms.THINGS TO KNOWThe canoe, kayaks, and dock are seasonal, offered from April through September.This home has many stairs to the entry and down to the water.Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.Dock details: The dock is seasonal and available in the summer only. It is removed by October for the rest of the season. Please contact us for details on availability.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
