The Lifted Lady - formerly known as Moon River's End - is one of the most striking 100-year-old gals you know! She's keeping up with the times with a full face lift – literally!! The house was lifted and fully remodeled in 2022/23 - sleek kitchen with stainless appliances and large island, Smart TV and devices, streaming apps, refreshed inventory, keyless entry, new 6-person hot tub, solar, battery wall, A/C, and more. The enlarged bathroom has a glorious walk-in shower with rain-style fixture, loads of light, and custom tilework. This bungalow has style!Flooded with sunlight - every bedroom connects to the spacious living and dining areas. The modern kitchen is open for all to help cook, hang around and joke, grab a snack or glass of wine. Dine inside or step outside to the gas BBQ and private patio. With the substantial hot tub and large seating and lounge area, you'll have a hard time deciding whether to stay here or exploring world renowned wineries and prized recreation area. If you stay long enough - you can do it all!Forgot your favorite coffee? Don't worry - there's an awesome coffee shop right next door! Cash only, but well worth the trip to a nearby ATM. Fife Creek Antiques is your other neighbor and has fantastic finds. You are practically on Main Street, Guerneville, and can walk to everything!Know Before You Book: Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at The Lifted Lady is 6 people. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time.Parking: There is parking for 2 cars in the driveway and a couple more on the street in front of the house. Street parking directly in front of the house is also used by customers of the coffee shop next door. RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance.Bed Sizes: First Bedroom: Queen bed; Second Bedroom: Queen bed; Third Bedroom: Queen bed.Heat Source: Central heat plus a wall-mounted electric fireplace in the living room.Location: The Lifted Lady is in the heart of downtown Guerneville. This is fabulous for walking to restaurants, shops, bars and wine tasting rooms, and Johnson's Beach, but this also means guests can expect more of the urban experience than homes in residential neighborhoods or in the woods. The neighbor to the left is Country Coffee - a (fabulous) coffee shop that usually opens at 6 am on weekdays and 7 am on weekends. It generally closes at 3 pm daily and there is a seating area behind the coffee shop where patrons enjoy their beverages, talk, play guitar, let dogs run, and sometimes smoke. The neighbor on the right is a locally-loved antique shop with varying hours. Other neighbors include a couple hair salons and a metaphysical supply/clothing/jewelry shop. Along the back property line, all the neighbors are residents.There's a parking lot across the street from The Lifted Lady and locally unhoused folks are known to hang out there and the health center down the road. This has not been an issue for the vast majority of guests, but we feel responsible to share this information before you make a reservation. Work from HERE: The desk in the living room has access to outlets and view out the front porch.Advertised Wifi Speed: 175 mbpsStairs: There is a set of stairs from the parking area to the front porch and a second off the side porch to the yard and hot tub. Both are behind locked gates. Once inside the house, everything is one level. Fencing: The yard is fully fenced. A/C: The Lifted Lady now has A/C! There are also screens on all the windows and sliding door.Proximity to wineries: There are several wine tasting rooms within walking distance of the house in downtown Guerneville and more than you can count within a short drive.Nearest River Beach: Johnson's Beach is the closest river beach, an easy .2 mile walk, and all around fabulous place to enjoy the river, rent boats, inner tubes, beach umbrellas, and grab a beer and bite to eat - when they are open for the season. Otherwise, you can wander the beach, but the boats and concession stand will not be available. Dogs are not allowed at Johnson's Beach when they are open for the season. Nearest Ocean Beach: There are many ocean beaches along the Sonoma coast, but one of the closest is Goat Rock State Beach just south of Jenner - 14.7 miles from the house.
