3/2 with Mt. Shasta Views! 1940's cottage close to everything! Long-term stays! Long-term stay friendly with a 30night minimum! Come stay in our completely remodeled 1940's era cottage. Everything is new and ready for you to enjoy. So many things are within a 5 minute walk from the front door. Enjoy walking to the jewel of Mt. Shasta - Sisson Meadow where you can birdwatch or just stroll on the boardwalk. Or head up to Shastice Park for some fun at the skate park, ice rink or playgrounds. The incredible bike paths of the extensive Gateway Trail system are just a couple of minutes away as well. If snow is your thing, the Mt. Shasta Ski Park offers super affordable lift tickets and some of the best skiing in northern California. Only a 20 minute drive to the Ski Park from the cottage. Sledding is a free option at Snowman's Hill or Bunny Flat. After your day of fun hiking, biking, skiing, boarding, skating, nature watching head back to the cottage to make dinner in the beautifully remodeled kitchen and watch a movie on the big TV in front of the electric fireplace. Wake up in the morning and have your cup of coffee and watch the sunrise over Mt. Shasta from the comfort of your bed. The view from the front bedroom is amazing! Your mountain adventures are sure to make the memories you want for you and your family. We've tried to include lots of options for you to explore in a big "binder of fun" in the cottage. Lots of hikes and daytime adventure options are included with detailed maps. Also maps of bike trails, restaurant options and some info on the beautiful Mt. Shasta area. Decorated with nature in mind we’ve tried to purchase environmentally friendly linens, including organic cottons, down-alternative and bamboo textiles. Cleaning products are also environmentally friendly. There is no planet B, let’s take better care of this one! Thanks for considering Chickadee Cottage.
