Located along Carmel Cove, the waters here are quiet and serene, perfect for early morning kayak rides, boating around the lake, or morning coffee out on the dock. This charming A-frame cabin evokes the comfortable feeling of home with it's open concept design and bright windows. It's easy to stay connected with your whole family here, whether you are enjoying dinner at the large dining table, barbecuing out of the back deck, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, or laughing with loved ones out on the hot tub. For fun and adventure mixed with rest and relaxation, look no further than Hideaway Cove! Sleeping Arrangements: 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and one queen sleeper sofa in the upstairs loft. Location Highlights: When you decide it's time to explore the lake area, you are only minutes away from some of the best spots on the lake, like the nearby Wine Cellar at Deep Creek Lake and Deep Creek Lake State Park, as well at the Dutch's at Silver Tree steak and seafood restaurant and outside Harbor Bar. Wisp Resort is only 15 minutes away!Rental comes with two single kayaks (one is a fishing kayak), 2 Stand-Up Paddleboards, and fishing rods!**Boating Advisory: Due to variable water levels and a low bridge into the cove entrance, some boating restrictions apply. Most pontoons or speed boats with towers cannot be docked at the home (especially hard-top pontoons). You may not be able to get the pontoon under the bridge to access the cove and the home's dock. The Aquatic Center is a local marina that can rent pontoons without canopies that can be driven under the bridge and docked at the house. Just call and tell them you are renting with Red Barn Vacations in Carmel Cove (the name of the cove) and need a pontoon capable of accessing the cove. They are great to work with!*** Winter Advisory: Deep Creek is a mountainous region that experiences more snowfall and ice than you may be used to. Many roads and driveways can be steep. 4WD/AWD vehicles are advised in the winter months. *
