Mealtimes can be a treat on this vacation with the fully equipped kitchen offering plenty of counter space to prepare ingredients, breakfast bar seating for reminiscing with loved ones, and all of the appliances needed to make family-favorite recipes. Come summer, more casual meals can be made on the gas grill on the scenic wraparound deck as the rest of the gang soaks in the private hot tub. When days come to a close, the fun won't stop with a pool table, comfortable seating, and flatscreen TV downstairs. And the home's central air-conditioning will keep everyone cool on those hot summer evenings. Don't wait a second longer, memories are just waiting to be made!Though this retreat is secluded in all of the best ways, Deep Creek Lake awaits with a private boat slip (available during the summer), two swim docks, a kayak launch, a bath house, picnic tables, and a firepit where everyone can indulge in a day of boating, fishing, swimming, and more - less than a mile from home base! Hiking and biking can also be a great way to use each day, as pristine trails lined with gorgeous foliage are within a few miles of your front door. Discovery Center and Deep Creek Lake State Park are less than two miles away as well offering hiking and sandy beaches within a short drive or leisurely walk. Come winter, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing can be a great way to make the most of fresh powder! Plus, the restaurants, shops, and grocery stores of McHenry are just nine miles north. THINGS TO KNOWFirewood is not provided.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles.Dock details: Guests are welcome to use the community dock, slip B3, but they MUST have a parking pass and boat slip (located in the home). Guests are able to use bath house, kayak launch, and swim dock as well. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page.Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book.
