Bear Haven is a 4 bedroom/3 bath home (sleeps 8) located less than a half mile from Lake Michigan. The interior of the home consists of wall to ceiling white pine with custom made log furniture to give you that "Up North" feel. This three level home has a loft upstairs (Queen). The main floor has a master suite (Queen) along with a second bedroom (Queen) and full bath. The living room has a gas fireplace and a 50 inch flat screen TV and DVD player. Wireless internet and air conditioning are also included. The dining room, fully equipped kitchen and living room are open which makes this home great for entertaining. There is a large deck directly off of the dining room with a gas fireplace and comfortable patio furniture creating a private outdoor space. The downstairs area of this home consists of another bedroom (Queen/twin bunks), full bathroom and a recreation room. The recreation room has a pool table and a 120 inch projection TV to watch your favorite movies and sporting contests. If you love the outdoors, Bear Haven is just minutes away from some of the best hikes in all of Michigan including Empire Bluffs, Pyramid Point, Dune Climb, Pierce Stocking Drive and Sleeping Bear Point. Alligator Hill trail head is right in our back yard along with the Heritage Trail where you can bike, run walk for miles within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. The Crystal River is less than a half mile away where you can rent kayaks and tubes.A few things to note: 1. We do not allow animals of any kind. 2. We have a maximum of 8 guests, unauthorized guests not allowed.3. Please park only in the garage or driveway. Guests to have no more than 4 vehicles. 4. We do have exterior security cameras that cover the entrances. One by the front door and one by the rear door. Aside from security, the purpose of the cameras is to monitor our trash as bears occasionally make a mess.
