Sorry the garage is not available to use.This secluded cabin located on Storm Mountain in Drake, CO is a 33 minute drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park and a 30 minute drive to Loveland.The Storm Mountain area is surrounded by Arapaho and Roosevelt National forests with several hiking trials near by and views of the mountains you don't typically see. Regular visits from elk and deer, rock climbing, and fishing on the Big Thompson river just minutes away.The perfect place to unplug, get outside and get away from every thing. Cell service is unlikely, Wi-Fi is provided but may not reliable. Home is stocked with board games and books to help keep you entertained on a rainy day.Home is accessed by 3 miles of dirt unpaved narrow road, you will need a All Wheel or 4 Wheel drive high clearance vehicle and from October-May tire chains will be needed to get up the mountain in the snow.The home is on a well and septic system so we ask you to limit your water use during your stay.This home is managed by Rocky Mountains Property Services, a family owned and operated business local to Estes Park.Rocky Mountain National Park will implement another pilot temporary timed entry permit reservation system from May 24 through October 20, 2024. If you plan on visiting Rocky Mountain National Park during your stay please visit their website for details about reservations.Due to the condition and steepness of the roads in this location and the subject property's driveway, the owner shall limit access to the property to All-Wheel (AWD) and/or 4-Wheel drive (4WD) vehicles.Traction Law STATE LAW!During winter storms, or when conditions require, CDOT will implement the Traction Law. During a Traction Law, all motorists are required to have EITHER:4WD or AWD vehicle and 3/16” tread depthTires with a mud and snow designation (M+S icon) and 3/16” tread depthWinter tires (mountain-snowflake icon) and 3/16” tread depthTires with an all-weather rating by the manufacturer and 3/16” tread depthChains or an approved alternative traction deviceNo Events No Exceptions, this home is licensed for 6 people no other people are to be in the home.
