Amtrak Train station 1 block away and one stop to downtown Santa Barbara. Its about a 10 minute drive, or hop on the train. You are close to Santa Barbara with all the downtown shopping and funk zone wine trails. Carpinteria also has great local brewery's and gourmet restaurants just a short walk. Enjoy San Ynez Valley and Solvang wine tasting about 30 miles away to enjoy these world famous wineries. Take a drive to Malibu, Ojai Valley, Rincon Point, Ventura or down to LA to Universal Studios, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Chumash Casino-- to name a few fun-filled activities.
