Wildwood Cottage-Family Friendly Wine Country Stay Our charming Wildwood Cottage is a converted schoolhouse that sits on three acres (owners live on the property). The property features a large chicken coop (feel free to gather eggs!), a lovely private yard with a picnic table, BBQ, firepit and full size school playground (this used to be a pre-school!). The cottage is a 1750 sq. ft. three bedroom, two bath private residence that sleeps 6-8 with a private yard and has an amazing playground. We are 5 minutes to downtown Atascadero, 15 minutes to downtown SLO, Paso or wine country, and around 30 to Pismo, Avila, Morro Bay, or Cayucos. Wildwood Cottage:*Check-in is after 4pm and checkout is before 11am. Property*Private residence on shared property. Shared driveway. Private entrance, private fenced yard with playground.*Primary Bedroom- King size bed, full bathroom, and walk-in closet with full size crib set up there. There is an LCD TV with Amazon Firestick (must use your own login).*Secondary Bedroom- two full-size beds, large closet, LED TV with DVD player, and Amazon Firestick (must use your own login).*Den/Third Bedroom- Haymaker inflatable Sofa Sleeper sectional with a queen size hybrid air bed. Foosball table and large LED Smart TV with lots of APPS (Netflix, Hulu, Prime etc.) that you can use your own login for. TV can also use Apple Airplay and Chromecast (Android Devices) to show pictures and media off your smart device.* Full-size fully stocked kitchen with all utensils for cooking and eating, service for 8 is provided along with child-friendly dinnerware for your little ones. * Dining table that seats 6 as provided and can comfortably seat 8 with additional folding chairs stored in the closet. All are welcome around the table. Two bar stools provide extra seating at the kitchen bar, which doubles as a fun workspace and a great spot to commune with the family Chef. We also provide a full sized desk that looks out onto the playground for any work-from-home guests.*Private yard with awesome full playground (the home is a converted schoolhouse), firepit with seating, hammock and hammock chair. *Pets allowed with agreement to the pet policy and payment of the pet fee of $100/pet/week (or portion thereof). Approval is based on the following: Pets must be potty trained (no pee pads), cannot be diggers or chewers, must be friendly and well behaved around children, other pets and chickens as all are present on the property. Pets cannot be left unattended unless crated, with no exceptions. *Cats, Dog, and Chickens are present on the property (but if you keep your gates shut, your yard is private) and treats are available for feeding the chickens. *Parking- parking for one car is provided and street parking for more is available.Guests have private access to the private fenced yard adjacent to the unit which contains a propane BBQ, picnic table, wood-burning firepit with seating, a playground and flower/herb garden. Please be aware that our gardener usually comes on Friday, mid-day, to do his maintenance. His schedule may vary without notice to the guests. He will not need access to the inside of the home but will let himself into the garden/yard area. Please DO NOT enter the yard behind the home, or the above ground pool, that is for the owner's family only. The pool does not have a fence around it and is NOT part of your rental. You will need a car as we are located in a rural area, but Uber and Lyft are available
