"The Eagle Nest" - For people and dogs alike Do you love grand views and long total privacy? Come to The Eagle Nest, a unique guesthouse in the Gem Estate. It sprawls over 2.3 acres of wilderness and huge boulders. Situated in the south hills of Idyllwild, the sun never sets and the birds never stop chirping. Built in the 1960s by a prominent businessman for his lovely wife (an Iranian princess) this estate was considered the grandest in Idyllwild in the 1970s. You can hike, relax or just sip wine and enjoy the views.The property is set back from the street and is accessible through a circular driveway. The guesthouse has its own entrance and shares the zen gardens with the main house.
