Sip your coffee and admire the tree-lined property while you decide what to do with the day. Skiing in winter, hiking in summer? A visit to the lake perhaps? Back inside, get breakfast going at the beautiful updated kitchen, with gleaming stainless steel appliances, rich, dark wood cabinets and all the counter space and gadgets you need to prep a feast. Or just serve the kids a bowl of cereal at the adorable child-sized table. The adults can gather at the breakfast bar or one of the two adjoining dining areas. After breakfast, head out and explore. You're spoiled for choice when it comes to outdoor activities, and the cute town of Truckee is only 15 miles away.After a day out, come home and head immediately back outside to that private hot tub to soak hiking- or skiing-tired muscles back into shape for tomorrow's adventures. When you're sufficiently relaxed, head back inside and spread out on that oversized sectional in front of the flatscreen TV, and don't forget to turn on the gas fireplace for that extra-cozy feeling.
