The electric fireplace creates a cozy ambiance as you kick back with a movie on the smart tv. The living room is open to the spacious kitchen, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, and cookware. The large kitchen island is lined with barstools, making it a great space to socialize with food and drinks. A formal dining table is also available, where up to 8 people can share a meal. There’s much more to explore at Green Hill Estate, from balconies to private yards and the upper level of the home, complete with more living space, kitchenette, and private work area. This home sleeps 16 guests between 4 private bedrooms and a sleeping loft. Bedrooms #1 and #2 each have a king size bed and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom #3 has a king size bed and tv. Bedroom #4 has a king size bed, 2 full size beds, private balcony, and ensuite bathroom. The sleeping loft has a queen size bed and full size bed. THINGS TO NOTE: The home has an additional full bathroom. Washer and dryer in unit. 2 parking spaces are available in the driveway. 1 Camera side of garage facing driveway.The rural city of Chowchilla has some unique attractions of its own including the annual Chowchilla Stampede, a celebration of the town’s heritage featuring a cattle drive down Robertson Boulevard, and the Fossil Discovery Center of Madera which holds the preserved remains of animals from 700,000 years ago like Colombian Mammoths, Sabre-toothed cats, and the largest bear to ever walk the Earth, the 12-foot tall Shortfaced Bear. But perhaps the most attractive feature of Chowchilla is it’s location, with the Bay Area to the northwest, the Pacific Coast directly to the west, the Sierra National Forest to the east, and Yosemite National Park to the northeast. Places like Bass and Shaver Lake are easy day trips. With Sequoia and Yosemite National Parks both under 2 hours away, you can check a few national parks off your list in 1 epic trip.Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested.
