White Rock Cabin White Rock Cabin Enjoy the feeling of camping/glamping, while having the comfort of a regular cottage. Sit in the hot tub and enjoy the stars, enjoy a fire in the fire pit. We are on a gravel road that runs along the North Fork of the Tye River, in the middle of the George Washington National Forest. There you can find solitude among native plantings, tall trees, and the porches overlooking mountains and woods. You'll find the kitchen amply provisioned whether you want to grill, smoke or microwave. From our front door you can walk along the trout-stocked river or you can venture out to locals-only hikes, 250 year old operating orchards/berry farms, Crabtree Falls, the Appalachian Trail, and Blue Ridge Parkway. All are within several miles, and it is 30 minutes to the 151 trail of wineries, cideries, and breweries, as well as Wintergreen. The cabin features a hot tub, a fire pit, outdoor shower and has two bedrooms, each with a with queen bed. New for 2023, high speed internet. Note: there is no direct cell phone coverage, there is a house phone, and some cell carriers allow wifi connection for cell phones.
