This historic home was built in 1939 of adobe brick formed from the land on which it sits. With open beam redwood ceilings, this charming guest house includes a bedroom, master bath, fully equipped kitchen, living area, and dedicated workspace with super-fast Wi-Fi. Relax in your private garden patio with firewall for your morning coffee or evening drinks. Pool & spa available for guest use. This quiet bedroom community is nestled at the edge of a national forest. We love the small town feel with local farmer's markets, and walkable streets that feel safe at any time of day. Nearby is a beautiful main street with restaurants, and shopping. Hiking trails run throughout the neighborhood, and true wilderness is minutes away up into the nearby mountains.Kids and dogs welcome. We have 2 dogs and 3 cats that roam the property (all very friendly). While you can control whether these pets join you in the casita, if you have a life-threatening allergy to cats or dogs, this may not be the property for you. Pets are welcome with an additional cleaning fee, and they must be supervised by the guest, and be able to get along well with our animals if allowed outside.
