Stylish & Bright , King Bed, Downtown Oasis This private unit has now been completely renovated to make for a private entrance and yard, as well as pet friendly. The unit shares one, extra sound-proofed wall between our main 4 bedroom house. Just steps from Downtown Arcata. A local favorite for our dragon hedges. Light cooking only. In the center of town, walking distance to all of the local restaurants, bars, and located directly behind the local Co-op. Private yard area and personalized itineraries for the area included.The spaceThe room is located via your own private entrance, at the back of our large home in the center of town. The space is entirely blocked off by a double insulated wall to create as much privacy as possible. You now have your own private, pet-friendly yard, with a small seating area. There is a the most comfy Cal-king bed in the unit. Our unit is well stocked for everything you would need for light cooking, and, most importantly, is located in the center of town…many restaurants, stores, and pedestrian paths are just a block or two away. The Kitchen is stocked with the essentials: toaster ,microwave, fridge/freezer combo, and electric tea kettle with an assorted tea collection. We provide a full itinerary on the best advice on things to do in the area while you're here.Guest accessThe guests will have their own private entrance, yard (which is surrounded by hedges-only one part of it is fenced, so please be aware that your dog might need to be leashed, because there are places where they can escape from under the hedges). Your unit consists of a primary bedroom with Cal-King bed, small seating area, and designated workspace. On the other side of the door is a kitchenette and full bathroom with standing shower. On-street parking on 8th and J streets. Very safe neighborhood, so no need to worry about leaving your car parked on the street. The local grocery store is directly across the street from our house. Most every restaurant, bar, and shop is located within a 2 block radius from our home. Enjoy being in the heart of town, while also being tucked away in our own private oasis.Other things to noteThe unit *used* to have a barn door separating it from the rest of the house, and a shared backyard...hence the many reviews mentioning the rabbits, and some mentioning that the barn doors were not as much of a noise barrier as some might have liked. Both of those things have changed: you can only visit the buns by appointment only...you must inquire with me first. Lastly, we have drywalled the area where the barn door used to be for ultimate privacy.**Only one dog per reservation unless agreed upon otherwise***There is an additional $30 pet fee if you are bringing a pet*
