The highlight of this location is Richardson's Beach Park. One of only a few places one can safely enter the ocean in the Hilo area. Perhaps the best snorkeling you will ever find. Protected swimming and snorkeling areas with lifeguards on the South side of Hilo Bay. One of 6 stops for the "Hop on Hop off" bus. It's a tourist destination. Home to many Green Sea turtles. Across the street are small black sand beaches. Downtown Hilo is just 3.5 miles down the ocean road. Road ends just 100 yards farther.The living rooms, kitchens, dining areas, and master bedrooms have unobstructed ocean views..
