Full kitchen with everything you need to cook up your meals (except the food!). The living room has a sleeper sofa and a retro TV setup complete with a wonderful selection of vhs (that's right!) and dvds to please any age (literally hundreds of classics and film favorites to choose from--trust us, you won't even miss netflix), and a popcorn machine for your movie night. Coffee & tea bar, kids area with toys and games for the littles, and several nice books and games to kick back and relax into on your trip. Outside find a comfy seat on the big front porch or enjoy some quality time around the fire pit for excellent star-gazing or s'mores.Located just a few minutes from Watauga Lake, Appalachian Trail, 30 min from Boone, Ski Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Watauga Lake Winery, about 45 min from Mountain City and Johnson City in Tennessee. This property is lovingly cared for by local owners with a small organic homestead nearby. We love traveling and hosting guests. It is our pleasure to fill the space with careful details that we know are appreciated when you're away from home but want to feel at home. For folks with allergies and chemical sensitivites, please note we clean the space with natural cleaning products and do not use any chemically scented detergents or air fresheners. Feel free to message us if you have any questions about your stay!No matter if you're staying for a day, a week, or longer, we hope you'll feel at home and happy in our little slice of Appalachian beauty. We are nearby should you need a kitchen utensil or kung fu movie during your stay, or anything else. There are some smaller general stores, camp supply stores, and such within a couple minutes of the house too. Butler, TN has a lovely authentic Italian restaurant called La Cucina, pizza and corner store restaurants, and Monsoon Thai. Watauga Lake Winery nearby also serves food on select days of the week depending the season.
