Wonderfully equipped and furnished with comfort and convenience in mind and the location provides out the door year round trail access for biking, hiking, skiing etc.. The unit is finished with cherry wood, custom cabinets and an abundance of thoughtful feel at home touches. The Howe Cabin is not a wilderness cabin, but we included furnishings and decor to bring you closer to the “Woody” environment as our community is surrounded by the deep Wilderness. The property is equipped with everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable, care free stay. The open floor plan of the living space is warm, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen dining space is social and comfortable for preparing and enjoying meals.Starter food amenities are provided along with a free 20 oz Howe Cabin Mug. Big comfortable leather couch and giant flat screen make the shared living space inviting to all. The living space spills out to a large deck, with gas grill, cooktop and seating. The outdoor deck space is generous with surrounding views and quite comfortable for lounging and cooking. Sit and watch the beavers play below.The bedrooms and baths are all on the upper level. The primary bedroom is outfitted with a queen bedroom and en suite bath with walk in shower. The shared bath in the hallway is spacious and has a step in bath/shower combo. The guest bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and is bright and airy. The additional queen bed is located in the office, which is spacious and comfortable, with a great working space with great views, as well as monitors for any work needs. Overall the unit has great features, outrageous views, and is comfortably furnished. The unique decor highlights some of Tellurides nostalgia, and really sets the tone for this comfortable, convenient townhome. Two parking spaces in front of the garage, the garage is set up as a ski/mudroom entry with coat and ski/board racks, benches, boot driers and a table. All in all a great rental property, comfortable and convenient with year round trail access and super easy ski access in the winter months.Skiing, hiking and biking trails are steps outside the door with easy access to all activities offered throughout Telluride and Mountain Village. Ski access is approximately 300 yards, a very short walk to The Meadows Ski Run located at the base of Chondola (Lift 1) and Sunshine Express (Lift 10). Three FREE seasonal transportation services offered throughout Mountain Village, make getting around convenient and hassle-free for everyone without the worry of driving conditions, parking or choosing a designated driver. 1) Chondola (winter only) “hybrid ski lift/gondola car” for skiers or non-skiers which allows you to ride inside a gondola car to the heart of Mountain Village then you can decide to walk around or ride the Gondola down into the town of Telluride or take the Mountain Village Gondola to Town Hall Plaza showcasing Mountain Village Market , Coffee Shop or Town Hall. 2) Dial-A-Ride is a call away, and they will take you anywhere in Mountain Village. 3) Local Bus Shuttle Service stops at bus stop at the entrance of the Northstar complex and stops at the Town Hall Plaza with additional stops throughout Mountain Village, all of which access the core of Mountain Village and the free Gondola to the Town of Telluride.
