Stay at our beautiful National Register Victorian House to explore, experience, and enjoy all nearby attractions in Athens, Logan, and Nelsonville, Ohio.At the Primrose Bed & Breakfast, guests are welcomed to a beautiful peach colored home with a large, spacious front porch with a porch swing. This 1892 home was built by Dr. Isaac Porter Primrose. It was once his doctor’s office and the home to his family. After being a residence for over a century, the home was completely restored as a beautiful Bed & Breakfast. The Primrose House, along with the Hyde House, are two of the oldest homes in Nelsonville. Upon entering the home, guests will notice the gorgeous oak trim, hardwood floors, colorful stained glass transoms, original kitchen cabinets with marble countertops, and the beautiful antique stove/oven. There is a dining area where homemade breakfast is served each morning, a sitting room where guests can play a game of chess, and lovely outdoor spaces with patios, decks, and a beautiful botanical backyard garden where guests can spend time relaxing, unwinding, or enjoying a take home meal from a local restaurant.
