LOCATION: Awesome Convenient... 20 min into Cullman, 8 min to Son's of Arley Grocery, there is a watercraft rental 3 min away, 5 min to the Swayback Bridge public boat launch and just over an hour driving time from either Huntsville or Birmingham! TECHNOLOGY: Smart TV's in each bedroom and living room, high speed fiber-WiFi throughout, Bluetooth connect sound system with outdoor speakers on the deck, and a commercial cocktail retro-arcade with 1142 of the most popular games ever, including PacMan, Ms. PacMan, Frogger and... you get the point! RELAX: Yes, a 7 person Hot Tub, right out your door on the deck overlooking the lake, with LED Lighting to set the mood, and tons of jets, even for your feet! Right from the hot tub and deck are a set of stairs leading to the fire-pit! Imagine... fire-pit, s'mores, hot tub, and repeat!!COOKING/FOOD: The kitchen is fully equipped with quality pots, pans, knives, dishes, insta-pot, food processor, blender, coffee pot, and all the utensils you may need! There is a charcoal grill and off-set smoker, and of course the fire pit to roast hot dogs and marshmallows! THE LAKE: It's in a perfect central location. Yes, there are steps down to the 2 slip dock, but they're not bad at all. Again, 2 slips plus a wonderful swim/fishing platform to enjoy however you like. THE DECK: What a wonderful view with the water right below for watching wildlife. You are so close that you may even see fish at the shoreline right from the deck rail!ATMOSPHERE: The "feel" of this home is all about vacation, travel, and memories. Although extremely comfortable, this is not a massive "luxury" home. This home is high quality, but meant to be welcoming, relaxing and comfortable, and is a destination all on its own!EXTRAS: Bring what you want, but you will find games, puzzles, floaties, and many amenities that will make it hard to leave during your stay... but keep in mind, the location (again) is perfectly central to access all of the attractions around Smith Lake or throughout the region from Huntsville's U.S. Space and Rocket Center (1 hr), Muscle Shoals Music district (1.5hrs), Historic Birmingham (1hr), or even venturing out to Nashville (2.5hrs), Atlanta (3.5hrs), or Memphis (3.5hrs).ADVENTURE: The home is located in a convenient, but secluded area that is surrounded by trees, and wildlife. We see deer, raccoons, squirrels, fox, lizards, and all kinds of birds and fish! Now, because the home was built down closer to the water (less steps to the dock), the driveway is rather steep... THAT'S A WARNING! It is steep, but safe, and made with poured cement with traction ridges in it. Most folks don't mind, but we wanted to let you know. The trade-off is it gets you closer to the water!
