Welcome to Fort Hatchett. Rent half the home for a smaller group. This listing allows you to rent part of the home and ALL the outdoor space. This Oasis sits on a wooded 1.5 acre lot with 250 feet of water front. You'll have access to the large kitchen, 2 queen bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry room with ice maker, and a roll out bed. Plus ice maker, washer and dryer in the laundry room. CAMERAS:Please note we have RING cameras on the exterior front and side door. There is also a camera in the kitchen that points towards the dock (not inside). We do not allow pets.There are kayaks available for rental, $105 for your entire stay. We have two in water kayaks and one above water fishing kayak. Let me know if you'd like to book.We do ask that noise is kept low outside after 9pm.Trucks should not drive all way down to the side entrance door with keypad, the road is steep and there is a potential to get stuck. There are two parking pads, very convenient to the side the side door. Please park there if you are in a large truck.We're here when you need us but stay out of your way otherwise. Please feel free to reach out with questions. Guest can access property with smart lock at check in or anytime after.This is a quiet and private street, a complete getaway with houses spaced out. The neighbors do all know each other and keep an eye out for each other.There is a smart lock available for guest use and will be provided to you on your day of check in.This listing offers access to the full outside and partial inside! The open concept living area looks right out on the lake. The Two queen bedrooms each have their own TV with Amazon Fire access and cable TV. There are 2 full bathrooms, 2 couches and a rollaway bed available for this listing. You can comfortable sleep 5, and 6 if you utilize the couch. The large laundry room features a sink and ice maker. Outside there is a screened porch, large deck, fire pit area with bedswings, a covered dock with bedswing and blue lights, and a floating dock, plus 2 swimming areas.Fort Hatchett is the lake house you've been waiting for. Nestled on the coveted road: Nero's Point with big water views! Fort Hatchett is an Oasis. The home is on a wooded 1.5 acre lot with 250 feet of water front. You'll find a large covered dock with cozy bed swing, large comfortable chairs, and a floating dock. Calling all fisherman, there are custom blue lights under the dock that add to the atmosphere at night and attract marine life. The incredible fire pit features 3 bedswings!! It is luxurious, allowing your whole group to relax around a fire. Right off the back of the house is the giant deck that spans the length of the home. And if you don't want to be outside enjoy the view from the screened porch complete with an outdoor dining table!There are two grills a charcoal grill and a propane grill.You are located 40 miles from Auburn/Opelika, 45 miles from Montgomery, 144 miles from Atlanta. 9 miles from Springhouse and Catherine's Market, 6 miles from Kowaliga, 4 miles to Cottons BBQ, and no miles from pure relaxation.CAMERAS:Please note we have RING cameras on the exterior front and side door. There is also a camera in the kitchen that points towards the dock (not inside). You'll need a car to get around but once you are at the house, you'll probably never want to get in your car. We do not have a boat ramp, the closest boat ramp is Kowaliga Marina or an access close to Children's Harbor. We do have a floating dock for easy boat docking.
