Fort Hatchett sits on a wooded 1.5 acre lot with 250 feet of water front. You'll find a large covered dock with cozy bed swing, screened porch, large comfortable chairs, and floating dock. We do not allow pets.There are kayaks available for rental.We do ask that noise is kept low outside after 9pm.We're here when you need us but stay out of your way otherwise. Please feel free to reach out with questions. Guest can access property with smart lock at check in or anytime after.This is a quiet and private street, a complete getaway with houses spaced out. The neighbors do all know each other and keep an eye out for each other.There is a smart lock available for guest use and will be provided to you on your day of check in.The incredible fire pit features 3 bedswings!! It is luxurious, allowing your whole group to relax around a fire. Right off the back of the house is the giant deck that spans the length of the home. And if you don't want to be outside enjoy the view from the screened porch complete with an outdoor dining table!2 kitchensEvery bedroom has an Amazon Fire TV and Cable.First Floor Bedrooms: (1) Queen Bedroom with full Bathroom attached. (1) Queen Bedroom with Full Hallway Bathroom, (6) Twin Bunks in the bunk Room, (1) Roll Away Bed, (1) CouchSecond Floor Bedrooms: (2) Twin Beds in Bedroom with Full Hall Bathroom and (1) King Bedroom with connected BathroomThere are two grills a charcoal grill and a propane grill on the deck off Kitchen.There is an ice machine in the laundry room, so you will never run out of ice! Inside this 4,000 square foot home, you will find a large kitchen with entertaining island, perfect for large groups but cozy enough for small groups. There is a double sided fireplace that faces the kitchen and open living area. You'll also find a sink and washer and dryer in the laundry room. There is a second kitchen upstairs off the main bedroom, should you need more space for prep and cooking. The home has 4 bedrooms and a bunk room the home features 12 beds! On the main level there is 2 queen bedrooms, a twin rollaway bed, as well as 2 full bathrooms, and a bunk room with 6 beds. Upstairs you'll find the king main bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds, there are 2 full bathrooms upstairs as well. You will also find an office with printer right off the bunk room for guest use.Calling all fisherman, there are custom blue lights under the dock that add to the atmosphere at night and attract marine life.You are located 40 miles from Auburn/Opelika, 45 miles from Montgomery, 144 miles from Atlanta. 9 miles from Springhouse and Catherine's Market, 6 miles from Kowaliga, 4 miles to Cottons BBQ, and no miles from pure relaxation.CAMERAS:Please note we have RING cameras on the exterior front and side door. There is also a camera in the kitchen that points towards the dock (not inside). You'll need a car to get around but once you are at the house, you'll probably never want to get in your car. We do not have a boat ramp, the closest boat ramp is Kowaliga Marina or an access close to Children's Harbor. We do have a floating dock for easy boat docking.
