The Vietnam War was found in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and lasted from November 1955 until April 1975.
Thousands of American soldiers fought and died in the battle, with many others being taken prisoner by the Vietcong.
Captured, tormented and starved by the enemy, many who were sent home were never the same again, whilst others remained lost and presumed dead, with little hope of ever finding them.

Christian Missionary, Tom Faunce was spending his day in rural Cambodia in 2008, helping the locals to dig wells. Having taken a break during the middle of the day, Faunce overheard that news had spread about an American soldier who was living in Laos after surviving a helicopter crash back in 1968.
