With the incredible success of Disney’s live actions films Maleficent, Cinderella and most recently, The Jungle Book, all Disney lovers around the world are waiting and counting down the day until Beauty and the Beast is finally released into cinemas.

Not set to hit our screens until March 2017, there is still a bit of a wait left and until now, we’ve only been given a small glimpse of what to expect from the film.

However,  for all of those people who can’t quite wait, Disney have released a few stills from the film and a stunning promo image that featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

With Harry Potter actress Emma Watson playing Belle, the image depicts her in Belle’s iconic yellow-gold dress dancing with the Beast, played by Dan Stevens, who is wearing the classic blue suit recognisable from Disney’s animated version of the film.

Watson herself has admitted she’s always been a fan of the original film, which came out back in 1991. She said: “I can’t even think how many times I watched it as a child. I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.”

Before now, Disney released a trailer earlier this year to tease fans. We don’t see too much in the trailer, but what we do know is that Belle arrives at the castle and we hear Lumière say “What if she is the one?”

With just a small amount being revealed, fans will be excited to see stills from the film.

Playing the intelligent and brave character is the brilliant actress Emma Watson.

The egotistical hunter Gaston will be played by Luke Evans.

As well as the stunning yellow-gold gown, Belle also sports the iconic blue and white dress we know from the 1991 film.

Kevin Kline stars as Belle’s eccentric inventor father.

Determined to get Belle’s hand in marriage, Gaston will stop at nothing.

Belle eventually sees past the beasts exterior and begins to feel at home in his grand castle.

The other stars of the film that we loved in the original Disney version will be Ian McKellan as Cogsworth, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumière and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette.

This latest offering from Disney’s live action films will be in cinemas March 17, 2017. Make sure you put it in your diary if you haven’t already!
