We thought we were being spoiled with the released of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play and book, but this latest piece of news regarding the wizarding world just took our happiness to a whole new level.

Harry Potter fans of the world, unite in celebration because there is going to be three new eBooks about the magical world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardary released featuring exclusive content written by J.K. Rowling herself.

Dedicated fans who clearly have an eagle-eye for anything Harry Potter related noticed that three new Hogwarts-related listing had been posted on Barnes & Noble’s, Apple’s and Amazon’s online stores a couple of nights ago.  Yesterday Pottermore confirmed the news that made fans around the world ecstatic.

The posted that the ‘series of bite-sized eBooks dig deep int the Harry Potter stories, with titbits taken from Pottermore’s archives and original writing from J.K. Rowling’. If you weren’t already excited, we bet you are now.

The three books are each set to explore a different magical theme.

Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide everything about the wizarding school that our three favourite witches and wizards (Harry, Ron and Hermione of course) attended. From the ghosts who call Hogwarts their home to what the Sorting Hat does if he’s unsure about which house to put a student in.

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists is said to be a bit dark as it deals with the goings on in Azkaban and the Ministry of Magic. There is even an original piece of writing by J.K. Rowling about Horace Slughorn – the potions teacher who accidentally helped He Who Must Not Be Named achieve immortality.

You’ll learn more about the troubles that faced the Ministry of Magic, the horrors of Azkaban prison and enjoy an entirely new original piece of writing by J.K. Rowling on Horace Slughorn.

Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies celebrates some of members of staff of Hogwarts. Looking at the Care of Magical Creatures teacher Silvanus Kettleburn as well as our favourite professor Minerva McGonagall. It even a piece of writing by J.K Rowling about McGonagall’s involvement in the second wizarding war.

The book trilogy is set to hit stores on the 6th September at just $2.99/around £2.30) each.
