College Students Give Dorm Room Extreme Makeover

Your average room at college consists of two wooden bunks, plain walls – with the occasions scribble of graffiti on them – and some less than tasteful furniture.

Students usually try to make their home away from home slightly more cosy by putting up photo collages of friends and family, buying a few fluffy cushions and maybe splashing out for a rug if you are feeling really adventurous.

However, this pair of freshers took things to whole new level when they moved in and totally transformed their room.

Abby Bozeman and Lindy Goodson go to The University of Mississippi but, it is safe to say with the help of a LOT of soft furnishings, their dorm room is a far cry from every other students’ room.

Their shared accommodation now looks more like a Disney palace rather than student digs.

From silk headboards to fur rugs, we can’t get over how plush their pad now looks.

Also, don’t be fooled, they didn’t actually paint the walls – their abundance of golden accessories has just filled the room with an incredible gold glow.

We also love how they have a curtain to cover their conveniently placed microwave when it is not in use.

It is safe to say that if they haven’t majored in interior design then they should consider a career change as this makeover is beyond incredible.

After Lindy shared pictures of their insane makeover on Twitter earlier this week, unsurprisingly it didn’t take long before it started to attract attention. So much so, that she had to make her account private to limit the tweet’s exposure.

Abby and Lindy say they have no regrets and are delighted by their new room. ‘In college dorms, especially at Ole Miss, everybody decorates their dorm,’ Lindy said ‘It’s so much fun’.

However, we just can’t help but think that no one else will have gone quite so over the top with their redecoration project.

If anyone else out there thinks that they can top these girl’s masterpiece, then by all means make sure you share it with the world.
